Dear Reader,
This Little Free Library was one of those projects that poured straight from my heart. I wanted it to feel like an invitation—something that would catch your eye, slow you down on your walk, and invite you to pick out a story. It was inspired by the song Dear Reader from Taylor Swift’s Midnights album, as well as the piano she used during the acoustic set of the Eras Tour.

My dad got this retired library for me as a gift, knowing I wanted to start my own little free library. It used to sit in the Cooper's Grocery Store in downtown Chaska.
My mockup of the design I planned to paint on the library.

This is where the inspiration for the flowers comes from...

First coat of paint down!

Some vines are emerging!

Flowers have bloomed!

Cutting glass for the mosaic on the door.

Dear Reader, the glass text, is glued down.

All the glass is secured!

Look how it looks in the light...

Install day! Here's my dad helping me dig the hole in the ground.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was a must.

Here's my son and I cutting the ribbon on June 24, 2025
