Other Mediums
A collection of creative explorations beyond paint and pencil—this section showcases my love for tactile, dimensional, and whimsical projects. Whether it's crocheting beloved characters, sculpting creatures from concept to finish, or reimagining classics in clay, these pieces let my imagination break free from the canvas.

Breath of the Wild Sculpture
This piece began as a sketch imagining what it would look like if the game truly came to life—literally bursting out of the screen. Inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I sculpted this at true scale to match the size of a real Nintendo Switch, capturing the moment a creature emerges mid-action. It's a blend of fan art, sculpture, and playful storytelling—bringing imagination into the third dimension.

College Collages
These mixed media collages were created during my college years—where late nights, emotional depth, and a lot of glue sticks collided.

I picked up crochet in 2021 as a cozy creative outlet—and it quickly turned into one of my favorite ways to bring characters to life. Starting with a small penguin, to a more complicated Snow White pattern, each piece is handmade with care and a little personality stitched into every loop.

Cat Out of the Bag Book
This piece was a playful take on the idea of imagination leaping off the page—literally. It’s a mixed-media sculpture featuring a hand-painted papier-mâché cat bursting through a real book, like a character escaping its own story.
I originally got the idea from my son. At the time, we had been reading the same cat storybook every night before bed—it was his favorite. That repetition, paired with his joy and curiosity, sparked the idea: What if the cat actually jumped out of the book?
Made during my college years, this sculpture quickly became an unexpected favorite of mine: weird, colorful, and full of life. Plus, it doubles as the most chaotic bookend you’ll ever meet.

Growing Up with Dad
This sculptural installation began as a group project in college. The original piece—a cliffside built from books and torn pages with tiny wire figures scaling its surface—was meant to represent the journey of life. After presenting it in class, we didn’t have space to keep it, so we threw it away. Hours later, my dad texted me saying how much he loved it and wished he could have had it. Unfortunately, it was already in the dumpster.
So, I promised I would make a version just for him. This is that version.
Built with chicken wire, paper mache, and real books (carefully chosen for their titles), this piece includes tiny wire figures representing different stages of life. Scattered throughout are handwritten inscriptions from my sister and me, personalizing it even further.
The piece now hangs in my dad’s home as a tribute to growing up with him, capturing our journey in pages, peaks, and memory.

Taylor Swift Denim Jacket
Created for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in June 2023, this hand-painted denim jacket was both a fashion statement and a love letter to music, color, and creativity. I designed it with bold lines and surreal, vibrant color blocking to reflect the many moods and transformations across Taylor’s eras. It was part concert outfit, part walking canvas—and I loved seeing it come to life surrounded by thousands of fellow fans.
